V-brew’s Team Up With Redhill Farm Estate
Because we know how hard it can be to make good stuff, even with the best equipment, we were very excited when Redhill Farm Estate got in touch with us about partnering for a competition.
Redhill Farm Estate isn’t just about making quality wine, it’s about being sustainable while they do. When their vineyard first opened, they started with just one vine. Now, their winemaking operation has expanded to include over 27,000 vines, and each one has been grown using sustainable practices.
Grape vine leaves are 91% efficient at converting sunlight into energy and grow for more than 50 years. Redhill Estate aims to use these features to become a carbon positive operation. In addition, they try to use up to 80% recycled glass in their bottles, and use waste sugar cane in their corks.
